Understand the major life stages of a church as it relates to a church’s life cycle—growth, plateau, and decline.
Know the characteristics of each life cycle stage and be able to accurately identify which stage accurately corresponds to their church at present.
Be able to develop an effective church revitalization strategy that can lead a church to greater growth or growth again if the church is plateaued or declining.
Be able to determine a church’s need for and readiness for the implementation of a revitalization strategy.
